Red, White, and Blue Entry
Friends, I meant to share our Red, White, and Blue Entry prior to Memorial Day Weekend, but honestly I ran out of time to write the post. Life has been busy with John finishing up his second year of college, Conor’s high school activities and the online shop. We have some fun things coming up and I can’t wait to share more really soon. For now, here’s a peek at our entry decorated for summer!

Pretty Window Boxes
This year I decided to be a bit more bold with my window boxes. I always do whites, greens, and neutrals but for some reason this season I wanted to use red geraniums. I had planned on just doing geraniums but I decided to add accents of white and green. I’m so happy I did. I also included little flags in too.

The red looks so cheerful against our weathered cedar shingles. I did a matching version of this window box on the pool house (I’ll share more of that area of our yard soon). The geraniums also pop against the gray pool house.

Chippy Nautical Salvage
My next door neighbors had a bunch of buoys they got for free and asked if I wanted any. I took four. I have three in Luke’s garden shed window box currently (I can’t put them on the ground in the backyard as I fear Beau will chew them).

How pretty is this chippy one in the front? I love the red and little blue detail on the netting.
Pretty Coastal Wreath
The wreath is from my friend Tamara’s shop in North Scituate. She creates these woven wreaths by hand at the Salty Fern. Her shop is adorable: beautiful wreaths, loads of shells, and tons of coastal decor. She is also carrying some of my stationery.

I love this wreath and love the starfish bow. She can customize anything so I highly recommend popping by her shop.

Red, White and Blue Entry
Here’s a look at the exterior all together. Don’t look too closely as the weeds are winning the battle currently. Ha! Ha!

I love using Boston Ferns in our antique planters because they are so easy to care for.
Lily of the Valley is growing on either side of the steps. It’s a favorite flower!

You will see Luke’s little Kei Truck out front. We absolutely LOVE driving around the South Shore and going to the beach in his truck!

I tried to get a cute photos of Max and Beau together, but ultimately failed… This was the best shot…

I hope this gave you some inspiration for your home’s exterior and maybe will give you the courage to try something new.
