Friday Favorites (68)
Happy Friday, friends! July is rolling along pretty swiftly and I just want to hit the pause button so I can linger in the sunshine of summer longer…
It’s time for Friday Favorites and I have a WHOLE lot to share this month.

Favorite 4th of July Celebration
We celebrated the 4th of July on the 3rd in Scituate. Every year there is an unofficial fireworks display at Peggotty Beach and this year we watched it from our friend Greg’s boat on the water. It was truly one of the most beautiful nights from the air quality, the sunset, and just a super time with friends. A night that makes one so very grateful to be alive.

Favorite Book
I’m currently reading Theo of Golden by Allen Levi. It think it’s the current “it” book. I bought it at Buttonwood Books and so far loving it. I’m just a bit slow reading lately because I’m so tired when I get into bed that I read one page and fall asleep. Ha! Ha!
Favorite Concert
The other week we saw Matteo Boccelli in concert at the South Shore Music Circus. It was a phenomenal show. I love his music and when I saw he was coming I asked my mom if she wanted to go. It ended up being the whole family and it was wonderful. He really is so talented and charming. He asked the ladies if anyone wanted to dance with him and all these older ladies were making their way to the stage. He sang some in Italian, some in English, some classical, some Elvis and Ed Sherin. It was a great night. We went to Salty Days for an early dinner first and the food was phenomenal. It really is so lovely we can see such amazing music so close to home.

Favorite TV
Four Seasons on Netflix – This is season 2 and it’s just as good as season 1. Great ensemble cast with some surprise locations that are fun.
Favorite Festival
This year was the first year we went to the Levitate Music Festival. John was one of 11 featured artists. So it was so amazing to see his work in person showcased with other artists, furniture makers, sculptors, and photographers.

The festival was sooooooo much fun and this was another pinch me moment. I felt like, “wow, is this really in Marshfield?” Hugely inspiring from amazing music, live art creation, a celebration of culture and community.

Everything was amazing. Wonderful artisan and vendors, fun aperol spritz and other cocktails, delicious foods trucks, and mermaid hair! I got a few gold strands.
We enjoyed listening to Alanis and Ziggy Marley on Saturday and LOVED Caamp. I think they are my new favorite band!

Favorite Al Fresco Dinners
We shared this buffalo chicken pizza the other week but I wanted to share it here again. Just in case you missed it. It’s so good!

We also made this grilled peaches and burrata salad. It was phenomenal. I found the recipe in People Magazine.

Favorite Place to Live
Last Friday, we went back out on Greg’s boat and we enjoyed appetizers and drinks from the water.

Truly a pinch me moment. I can’t believe we get to live in this town.

Favorite Creative Time
Lately John and I have been painting a lot together at the studio. I love, love, love, our new creative space to work and collaborate together. Its truly so nice to have a beautiful studio with wonderful lighting. I love having John’s work hanging in the studio and love watching him create.

In addition, it’s such a joy and dream come true to share this space with others. I love helping people find relaxation and happiness through creativity. We still have openings for our summer creative classes.

Favorite Apparel
I don’t often share clothing but here are two favorites:
Square Neck Maxi Dress – I have this dress in black, size small and I just ordered it in gray sage. It has a built in bra, is super light and has pockets. It’s such a comfortable dress and I think it would be great for travel too.
Bikini Underwear – Is it me or is it so hard to find comfy undies? These are wonderful. They aren’t cheap but I love them. I just make sure to hang dry them.
Favorite Window Boxes
Our window boxes are thriving and it’s the first time I did red geraniums and they are so happy. I love that bright red this year.
