She Shed: DIY Shiplap Walls

I partnered with the Home Depot on our She Shed.

Happy Friday, friends!  We’re trying to squeeze as much summer fun into the last few days before the boys go back to school.  Today we’re heading into Boston and taking John and Conor on the Duck Tours.  They are so excited.

But before we head out for the day, I wanted to share one of the DIYs we did in the shed.  It is no secret that the coastal look is my favorite and my She Shed fully embracing it.

In my reveal post on Monday click here and on the Home Depot post click here, you may have noticed the paneling on the walls.  This is shiplap.  If you watch Fixer Upper than you know what I’m talking about #shiplaplove but if you don’t then you might not.  Shiplap is used on many farms and outbuildings because it is easy to install and is called shiplap because the boards overlap to fit snuggly together.

From the begining I envisioned bright white shiplap walls for my she shed.  We installed them and are sharing the full step by step tutorial on this and a few other updates we made inside on The Apron blog, click here to read all about our DIY Shiplap walls.

I’ll see you Sunday for Silver Pennies Sundays and I’ll be back on Monday with a tutorial on our mini marble chip patio and coastal plantings.
