The Letter J

Some of you have been asking about the lego J, I created John’s Lego Birthday Party:

I got a wooden J from Michael’s for $3.99.  John’s favorite color is red.  So I used my Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Emperor’s Silk.
It is a gorgeous red.  I used it on John’s Union Flag Bureau and some chalk painted pillows in his room.  Here is what the J looks like just with the red:
Gorgeous color, right?  Love it.  Luke drilled two holes in the top.  Then I got out some legos and my trusty glue gun and haphazardly glued various colored legos on it.  The more colors and variety of shapes the better.  I finished off with some twine.  It is still hanging on the front (per John’s request), but at the end of the week it will be moving into his bedroom as initial art!
