HUGE Moving Sale!

When I read this, I stopped dead in my page flipping.  This month’s issue of Country Living (which I read with delight in one sitting) – The Bargain Issue– was made for me.  It isn’t that I’m cheap, but thrifty.  Why spend more when you don’t have to?  As long as I can remember I’ve been going yard sailing, thrift shopping at the GoodWill, antiquing and rummaging.  Plus, that aged patina and charm doesn’t come with brand new things straight off the shelf.

If you are a fellow thifter and love digging through bins of linens, silver and decorative items then tomorrow will be your lucky day (especially if you’re local!).

“Why?” you ask with bated breath.  In which I, exuberantly exclaim, “We are hosting our first ever tag sale!”  This is a big one, as many of you know, we’re moving!

We’ve accumulated so much stuff in the 5 1/2 years we’ve lived here – two kids, a dog and all that goes with it!  So if you’re looking for some great finds than come on over.  We have: teak patio furniture, trunks, linens, vintage kitchen items, a dining room set, children’s books, toys, furniture, antiques, artwork, mirrors, light fixtures, swingset attachments and many more wonderful things.

John and Conor will be supplying you all with fresh lemonade and goodies.

On top of that, we’ll be hosting A Finding Silver Pennies Open Studio under a white tent.  Handpainted furniture, lamps, signs, handmade fabric scrap garlands and pillows will all be available.

I realize many followers live too far to make it but I’ll fill you all in next week on how our sale goes.  Wish us luck!
