My Coastal She Shed on The Home Depot

I partnered with The Home Depot on this project.

Wow!  I have some amazing, amazing news!

This is the kind of news that makes you want to sing from the mountain tops…

to dance the funky chicken…

to sip fine champagne (or prosecco cocktails)…

or cry happy tears.

A Coastal She Shed by Finding Silver Pennies

I did two out of the four (partly because we don’t have mountains in Scituate and partly because well, I don’t remember the moves to the funky chicken.) Anyway, my She Shed.  The shed that Luke and I have been working really hard on. If you want to refresh your memory you can click here for the installation and inspiration.

The shed that the trees had to come down for (and they came down the day before it arrived). The shed that we had four days to work on before we left for Spain.  The shed that we had one weekend when we got back from Spain. The Shed that all my boys want to take over, but I won’t let them.  Well, maybe my little boys can come in now and then.

Yes, that She Shed.  My coastal She Shed is on The Home Depot blog right now!  Click here to go see it.

We worked so hard on this little shed and it is coastal in all the ways I love – light, bright and beachy.

A mini version of our home with the gambrel roof and the shutters and doors painted to match the ones on our home.

The outside is filled with coastal plants and a gorgeous patio.

Inside is a coastal oasis calming for the soul and the mind.

I’ll be sharing a source list next week and all the DIYs that went into making this space my coastal she shed.

Ah, now for some R&R in the shed.  Stop by and join me if you’d like. But before I go a little sneak peek of the inside:

Oh Danielle, you are one lucky girl. Your she shed is so beautiful. I want one, but I want mine in Scituate. I love everything about it. The color scheme is so inviting and I love the patio and the welcoming table and chairs. This is better than any man cave! I didn’t comment on your post that included the lighthouse (by the way, the “cottage” we stayed in on Lighthouse Rd. was about 5 houses from the lighthouse) and how you can walk to it. Your posts bring me back to my greatest childhood memories. Summers in Scituate were… Read more »

So beautiful. A ton of work, but so worth it. I can’t wait to see the inside!

Congratulations Danielle! You’ve given me lots of inspiration for my very own “she shed / art studio”

Jessica @ Dear Emmeline

Love it Danielle! We have a large outbuilding on our property that I have dreams of transforming into a studio/workshop where I can create and hold classes & pop-up shops. I’d love a bright, beautiful, inspiring space like yours! Our outbuilding needs a lot of work though so now you have me dreaming of putting up a smaller pretty she-shed for my daughter and I to disappear in and craft away. She’s a little artist and her younger brothers like to get into all of our supplies!!!
