Here is what they looked like before:

I painted the seats in ASPC Graphite to match the rest of the chair and then two coats of Provence. I then distressed to make them look shabby chic and sealed them with Annie Sloan's clear wax and buffed.
Here's how the stools turned out:

I really love the mixture of Provence with the wood and black showing through. You can also see it a bit on the seat:

What do you think? Do you like how the came out? They look like they were always meant to be in my client's kitchen.
