A look back at the top posts from 2021!

Happy New Year, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s Eve! As many of you know I took the past week and a half off from blogging and social media. I just needed a break with my family and the dogs. We stayed home and enjoyed a very quiet holiday. We took many long walks with the dogs and despite hoping for lots of snow days, it rained most days.

Before I start sharing new content with you (I currently don’t have anything new YET), I wanted to take a look back at 2021! It was a hard year for our family. We said good bye to Luke’s father and aunt in February so it started off on a very sad note for us. We didn’t do lots of DIY or home projects but did focus on decor, design, and watercolors! I took the month of August off to focus on watercolor and creating some new products for our online shop including: our watercolor calendar (which is almost sold out -only 3 left while I type this), new note cards, and notepads. I’ll be adding more to our online shop soon! It is my goal to branch out into surface pattern design and I have big dreams of publishing a watercolor illustrated books. I’m putting it out there just in case the universe needs to hear it! My book proposal is almost done and I’ll be approaching literary agents. Wish we me luck with that!

This post reflects all your favorites. I’m sharing our top 7 posts based on page views. Simply click on the button read more.

Glad to hear you had a lovely break with your family. Had the family Christmas day, Grandchildren 1 & 3 years and the springer spaniel, great fun but sadly their mum came down with covid so we haven’t been able to get together since. Let’s hope we soon see the back on this awful virus!! You had no snow!! It has been really warm here but icy cold today. Spring around the corner, can’t wait to see the first snowdrops! Take care and thanks for your ideas x
