Summer Favorites Watercolor
Summer is special here in Scituate. I’ve celebrated all my favorites in a new watercolor – summer favorites watercolor!
As you guys know, this period where we have all been at home has reignited my love for painting watercolors. I had so much fun working on this design.
Conor snuck a few photos of me while I was painting in the sunroom.
Our little seaside town shines in the summer and it was so much fun to come up with some of my favorite things: fresh cut peonies from the garden, collecting shells and seaglass, and looooooonnnnngggg beach days.
Summer is the best here!
We love building sandcastles:
We love lobster bakes and lobster rolls. I shared our recipe the other week if you missed it.
Of course, I had to include refreshing cocktails, too!
The Mai Tai and the Mojito are featured in the Summer Favorites artwork. We love these rhubarb mojitos and paloma cocktails have been a hit this summer.
I hope you enjoy this new design as much as I did creating it! It really is such a joy to paint and create. I always feel more relaxed and more me when I find the time to paint. If you’d like to start painting you might like to read about the supplies I use.

Dani, Thank you so much for sharing your lovely watercolor paintings. You inspired me to begin painting, as well. What a wonderful way to pass the time and lift my spirits during these unusual times. I now spend my mornings doing the usual necessary household chores so I can spend my afternoons sketching and painting with my new watercolors.
