Friday Favorites is a blog series devoted to all my favorites – shows, home decor, books, pastimes, and more.

Favorite Cocktail

I shared our absolute favorite cocktail with you all the other week – the refreshing Paloma Cocktail – a mixture of tequila, grapefruit soda or juice and seltzer. It’s so refreshing. Get the recipe here.

Favorite Flowers

I planted Zinnias all over our yard in vintage galvanized container and they’re starting to bloom. I got them from Holly Hill Farm in Cohasset and it’s so interesting to watch them open.

Favorite (Easy) Dinner

I LOVE the grazing boxes from Board143. They make for such an easy dinner when you pair them with fresh summer salads. No need to turn the oven on simply pull this out of the fridge and enjoy!

Favorite Men’s Swimsuits

For Father’s Day I ordered Luke and Conor matching swimsuits from Fair Harbor. Fair Harbor makes bathing suits from recycled bottles and also has a really comfy liner that prevents chafing. Both Conor and Luke love their swim trunks. They can also be worn as shorts. The photo pictured is Mist Seaweed which Luke has. I got the matching suits in dark denim stripes.

They swim together each morning so now they’ll look cute matching. 😉

Favorite Bowls

These bowls are perfect for snacks by the pool. They are part of the Magnolia line. I bought the nesting bowls last year and use them all the time – so great for bringing food to the boat club or the beach and they have a lid.

Flip Flops

The most comfortable flip flops. The Reef Bounce. I walked all over California in these last summer and just ordered a new pair for myself. I usually wear a 5 1/2 but these start at size 6. So comfy.

Favorite Book

Currently reading this poolside and loving it! What books are you reading. Would love to hear as I’ve set a book a week goal for our family. I’ll need some recommendations soon!

Favorite TV

We’re trying to educate ourselves and kids and fully support #blacklivesmatter We watched two programs that were eye opening. One was a film and one was a documentary.

Just Mercy is based on the life work of civil rights attorney of Bryan Stevenson. We watched it with our boys with tears streaming down our faces. It talks about systematic racism and shows many stories within the film. Watch it for free for the month of June across all platforms.

13th a powerful documentary explores race and the criminal justice system. Conor was studying the 13th ammendment and civil rights in school so he shared things he learned in school while we were watching. You can watch the whole film here.
