Friday Favorites (64)
Happy March! It still feels like winter here in Scituate but I’m hopeful for spring… We’re just getting back to normal after a huge blizzard last week. Here was the view from our living room:

Homes looked like gingerbread houses pasted in snow.
It’s time for Friday Favorites, one of your favorite series, where I share my current favorites and I have lots!

Favorite Walk
Over the weekend we walked out to the Lighthouse. The tide was low enough that we could walk along the beach from Museum Beach.

It felt so warm… It almost felt like summer. It was so nice we actually had lunch outside in the sunshine at Lucky Finn with Max. Yes, got an ice coffee and BLT Avocado wraps. Yum!

Favorite Books
I just finished One Perfect Couple by Ruth Ware. It is loosely based on a reality show format with couples on an island but deaths start happening. This had me on the edge of my seat and I didn’t figure it out. Lots of twists and turns. I also enjoyed the The Woman in Cabin 10 and the The Woman in Suite 11, also by Ruth Ware.
Now I’m reading The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern. I love escaping into this other world of storytelling and secret passages and books. Erin’s writing is so poetic. I really loved Night Circus, it was so different, and I feel like the Starless Sea is so different than anything I’ve ever read. If you haven’t read either book, I highly recommend her writing and there is a bundle two book set.
I’m painting loads of flowers trying to channel spring and I bought this Flower Color Guide to use as a reference for my paintings. Flowers are sorted by color and it shows flowers in various different orientations which is super helpful when painting bouquets.
Favorite Little Dish
I bought this at B. Home Fine Consignment. You all know how much I love little bunnies. It will so cute with little mini eggs in the living room.

Favorite Collection
Speaking of dishes. You all know how much I LOVE my Cornishware collection. I looked for more in England but didn’t find any must have pieces!

Favorite Films
Films
Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere – I watched this on the plane coming home from Ireland and loved it. I really love Bruce Springsteen’s music but I don’t know much about his life. This was very well done. Jeremy Allen White is phenomenal.
Marty Supreme – Luke and I went on a date night to watch this film. It’s getting a lot of buzz and has a star-studded cast. This film is very, very different and I wouldn’t say that Marty is likable, he makes bad choices and is selfish, but we enjoyed it. Timothée Chalamet trained for 6-7 years to play table tennis like a pro.
Favorite Trip
We just got back from a whirlwind trip to England, Scotland, and Ireland to look at universities with Conor. It was wonderful but now we feel like we need a proper vacation. Ha! Ha! It was a lot of information and so much driving… See our trip here.

Favorite New Product
St. Patrick’s Day is almost here but the luck can last forever with my four leaf clover giclée print.

Favorite Breakfasts
We’ve been enjoying tartines on Knead Bakery sourdough bread. Get the tartine recipe here.
