Watercolor Mushrooms

Mushrooms are such a passion for my family and a way we love to connect. Over the last few months I’ve really enjoyed painting mushrooms and I’m finally excited to share my new watercolor mushroom collection.

I know I’ve shared more about our love for mushrooms already on the blog. If you missed it you can get our recipe for Lions Mane “Crab” Cakes. Luke and John have always been interested in mushrooms and took a wonderful safe foraging class taught by our friend, Sally Orman, at Scituate Recreation Department.

Walking through the woods and discovering so many types of fungi and learning more about mushrooms, and nature in general, is so much fun! See some photos of our finds here.

These new watercolors are directly inspired by all these fun fungi and were so much fun to paint!

NEW Mushroom Watercolors

The collection includes four different products which I’m so excited about! I gave a sneak peek in a reel the other day and today the collection just launched in my online shop and will be heading to our retailers too.

Mushroom Note Cards

Of course, we have note cards, available as single or sets of cards. These cards are printed on lovely quality paper – Mohawk superfine eggshell which has the same feel as watercolor paper. My cards are printed in Massachusetts.

Mushroom Sticker Sheets

Funtastic fungi sticker sheets – who doesn’t love stickers right? I just thought these mushroom illustrations would be so adorable as little stickers for kids and adults alike! Stick them on water bottles, laptops, notebooks or put in a scrapbook. The possibilities are endless and these are durable to put on things that go through the dishwasher and will be outside.

Mushroom Flour Sack Tea Towels

These tea towels feel so good and I knew I wanted to make this as part of the collection! They look great in any kitchen and have an old farmhouse feel to them. The tea towels are made out of 100% cotton flour sack and measure 27″ x 27″. You can see it in our kitchen below:

These are printed in the USA and the detail on the printing is beautiful!

Well, that’s the collection! I can’t wait to hear what you think! Please check out our online shop for even more products from art prints to tea towels, notepads, calendars and note cards. We’re always adding new things!

Tote Bags

I thought about adding tote bags because many people were interested in them, but I’ve decided to hold off for now. I did get a sample printed which I was really happy with but wasn’t sure how well they’d do at markets and online. Here’s a peek:

Come See Me in Hingham!

I also wanted to share that I’ll be Acquire Good’s featured artist again this year for the Hingham Arts Walk. The walk is Sunday, October 15th from noon-4pm. I’ll have the mushroom collection and loads of other goodies. Tamala’s shop is gorgeous and she’s been so supportive of me. Hope you can pop by.
