Watercolor Cocktails and a New Lighthouse

Excited to share some brand new watercolors in our shop. Summer calls for celebration and we’re celebrating with watercolor cocktails and a new lighthouse!

This is a really short and quick post! I’m just so excited to share some new watercolors with you! I don’t know about you but I’m a HUGE cocktail fan. Growing up my parents owned Baldwin’s Restaurant and I loved helping out. Bartending was my favorite! I made great martinis, mudslides, and margaritas. I STILL love mixing up cocktails and am very excited that we’ll be able to have friends and family over for cocktails. Yay!

I’m very excited to share a new collection in our online shop.

Introducing the Cocktail Collection

I will be doing a sale of original watercolors in our online shop very soon (including these framed cocktails) which I turned into fun note cards.

Scituate Lighthouse from the Ocean

In addition to the watercolor cocktails I also just added a new lighthouse. This one is a view from the water. I painted it from a photo I took from our friends’ sailboat last summer. This view was from the Crazy Ivan. We spent the day sailing from Hingham to Scituate and it was wonderful.

I actually sent the original to The Lost Kitchen in Maine in hopes that we get a special phone call for a reservation. If you don’t know about The Lost Kitchen it’s a beautiful restaurant in rural Maine and is owned by Erin French. She has a show on Discovery+, a cookbook, and a memoir. I really love her story and look up to what she’s built but think it would be a really amazing experience to share with our boys. So fingers crossed.

I posted a photo on Instagram and so many of you wanted me to create cards out of it.

This is available as single note cards and sets.

If you liked these you might also like my summer favorites and the other version of the lighthouse I painted. I’m really really excited for summer. Our kids only have one more week of school and I can’t wait for slower days on the beach and sipping cocktails with friends by the pool. It’s been such a long year, right? I’m very optimistic for this summer!

If you’re local these cards will be heading to Board143 today. If not, feel free to shop online. We donate a portion of every sale to World Wildlife Fund.
