New Classes at the Studio
We are excited to welcome you for classes at our new studio space at 97 Elm Street in Cohasset Harbor. We are offering a range of drawing, gouache, watercolor and more.
We provide everything, you just need to provide yourself.

Watercolor Supplies for Beginners
All supplies for in class projects will be supplied but if you’d like to paint at home here are my suggestions.

- Watercolor paper, I use Canson XL Watercolor paper but this doesn’t include cotton. Cotton papers on blocks I like are: Fluid 6″ x 6″ block and Winsor and Newton Professional (these are all cold press papers)
- Pencil (I like using a mechanical pencil or Blackwing)
- Plastic Eraser
- Round Brushes (sizes 6, 4, and 2 – I like Princeton Velvetouch, I also really like the daVinci Series 11 Maestro which are sable and more expensive)
- Script Liner Brush Size 1 for details
- Clean water (I use recycled glass yogurt pots)
- Scrap watercolor paper to test out colors on the side. I also have a piece of kitchen roll to blot my brush
- Watercolor Palette ( I like this one because it closes)
- Watercolor Paints (colors I used mostly by Daniel Smith but some our Winsor and Newton) I enjoy using tubes of paint. This is a great starter set by Daniel Smith and I would add Sap Green
- If you’re traveling or want to try pan paints I really like this one by Daniel Smith.
