Goat Cheese Stuffed Figs

Creamy goat cheese stuffed fragrant figs wrapped in salty bacon is the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of fall or winter.

Ingredients
  

  • Figs mission

  • bacon

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry figs.
  • Slice top half off fig and scoop interior with melon ball scoop.
  • Place soft goat cheese in the cavity and place the top back on the fig.
  • Half cook bacon in cast iron skillet while preheating the oven. Cool bacon on plate lined with paper towel.
  • Wrap half cooked bacon around the stuffed gif and secure with toothpick.
  • Line baking sheet with parchment and place figs on it. Broil in oven until bacon is cooked.
  • Serve immediately! Delicious with red wine.
