This Week on Finding Silver Pennies
You guys always share such amazing projects, but this week was particularly hard to narrow it down. There’s just so much talent in this group. I’m so grateful to all of you for linking up each week. I know there are many link parties and blogs and grateful you have time to stop by here.
This Week’s FeaturesSometimes the hardest thing about painting furniture is deciding on a color and finish. Ashley over at Vintage Refined shared not one but two beautiful makeovers using Old Ochre and French Linen. French Linen is one of my favorite Chalk Paint® colors! I love both dressers equally but her post shows how you can get such different looks with the same colors: Mary over at Orphans with Makeup shared such a soft and pretty dresser makeover. Fusion Mineral Paint has brought out a new line of paint that is safe for children because they have zero VOCs called Tones for Tots. The colors are dreamy. She finished this dressers in Little Piggy. I can’t believe this gorgeous bathroom used to be a bedroom. Rebeca over at Lincluden Cottage shared this bathroom makeover and it’s swoon worthy. Marble, clawfoot tub, soft whites and oil rubbed fixtures – I want to go over there and take a bath!!!! I love chippy farmhouse pieces! Meg over at Hello Farmhouse shared this beautiful chippy linen cupboard in her guest room. I LOVE this piece so much. This furniture set by Thirty-Eighth Street has such a beautiful story and I’m IN LOVE with the new color:
- Link up your fun, creative, thrifty projects. I’m partial to painting furniture, but anything goes for this link party – DIY Projects, home decor, cooking, crafts, painting, sewing…
- Grab a button (on the side bar) or link back in some way. You must have a visible link back to be considered for a feature.
- Visit some other links – everyone likes to receive comments and love.
- I’d love for you to become a follower, but that is entirely optional.
