14 Gorgeous Gifts for the Yogi in Your Life

Happy Friday, friends!  Woot Woot. I’m so happy it’s the weekend.  Yay!

Great Yoga GiftsI’m not sure if you know this or not but I LOVE yoga.  I’ve been practicing yoga since my days at Mount Holyoke and have continued til now but I usually like HOT yoga the best!  I actually started the blog when I had to take a break from yoga 4 years ago. Funny how things happen.

I try to go a few times a week.  I’m a much happier and relaxed person when I come home and I think that makes everyone in the house happy 😉

Anyway, I’ve tried out oodles of products and gone through so many yoga mats – slipping and sliding away.

Can we say face-plants in class?

Anyway, I’ve rounded up my favorite products to share with all of you, either if you end up shopping a bit for yourself or for a yogi in your life.

14 Gorgeous Gifts for the Yogi in your Life

And away we go!

First of all, my all time favorite mat is the Jade yoga mat and I have it in blue, just like this one! I love the thickness of this mat but you, or your loved one, will NOT slide on this mat. I promise!!!!  I’ve had mine for two years and it is still in great shape.  I just make sure I wipe it down with a wet paper towel.  know that $78 is expensive for a mat, but this one is worth it as you won’t have to buy another mat. I can’t tell you how many I went through before this one.

Now let’s talk about clothing.  I know for some it’s a fashion show but for me it’s about going to feel good.  I like the clothes I wear in yoga to be comfy and I like them to be able to stay in place (if you know what I mean).  Here are a few I love.

Yoga Clothes

  1. These are the Misty Leggings by Prana and I LOVE them so much.  I actually just wore them to class on Sunday and they were perhaps the most comfy yoga pants EVER. I like how they’re long enough for the winter months.
  2.  I wore these yoga pants a lot this summer.  They’re the Chaturanga Yoga Knicker by Athleta My hubby and kids got them for me as part of my birthday gift and I love them so much. They wash really nice too.
  3. I also love these simple camis by Athleta.
  4. HOT yoga is so great but coming out of a 100 degrees+ yoga studio in the middle of winter can be FREEZING.  That’s why I love sweaters like this, oh, and a bonus that this cashmere one is on sale right now.

Many of you may or may not have noticed a bracelet I often wear. Really it is in many before and after furniture photos. You can see it in this photo when I was creating the succulent planter for my She Shed.  My yoga instructor, Lyn, actually makes beautiful jewelry for her Etsy Shop called Izuly, the bracelet I have is very similar to this one and I also have a necklace just like this one.  It has an Afghan coin on it.

So I was thinking about a few other yoga related things that I love and included these wonderful gifts:

More Great Yoga Gifts

  1. One needs pretty toes, especially if your looking down at them.  I love Essie nailpolishes.
  2. This yoga retreats book looks amazing.  I’m feeling very zen just from the gorgeous photography.
  3. Hydration is very important and this gold water bottle has you covered.
  4. Fun Namaste sign for your home.
  5. Thrive is an amazing book by Arianna Huffington. I read this book last year and put it on my gift guide.  BUT I love it so much I’m including it this year.  In a way, it  is a self help book to help one “THRIVE” from putting down your phones for a bit to getting outside for a walk.
  6. Keep those feet warm in class with these yoga socks.
  7. A fun mug for a cuppa after yoga class!

I hope you enjoyed this gift guide.  I know your yogi will love whatever you decide to give them.

Have a beautiful day, friends.  Namaste!
