World Market Highlights and My Finds

I partnered with Cost Plus World Market  for this post.

Hi Friends, hope you’re having a great week!  I’m so excited to share World Market highlights and my finds. I was so happy that I was dancing in the store with a lamp shad on my head.  You maybe saw this image on Instagram:

Happy Shopping at World Market

On Sunday, the boys and I piled into the truck and drove to Framingham for the Grand Opening Weekend.  I told you about the store opening here, just in case you missed it!

Outside World Market

The lines were pretty long, but so well worth it.  There were so many great deals and discounts.  I got 20% off on all home decor items!

We were all pretty excited. John and Conor raided their piggy banks and were keen to find some treasures.

So much to seeWe were at the store for a few hours there was so much to see including The Property Brothers!  I thought about going up and meeting them but knew my kids might flake out before we got up there. They were keen to explore the toys and food.

Jonathan and Drew were so gracious to the crowd; everyone was so happy to see them.  Oh, they are very tall in person (in case you’re wondering).

We started in the Office area. I guess I have the office on my brain as I just bought paint and plan on getting that room started ( I realize I’ve been saying that for quite some time now, but I promise it will get done, room inspiration here).

Globes

We LOVED all the globes…

May have to go back and get it for the office.  I was really so surprised just how much stuff the store had.  I had no idea that we’d be able to get all the English treats we usually stock up on when we visit Luke’s side of the family.  They had it all – our favorite chocolate, biscuits, marmite (Luke loves it) and loads of jams.

French Lemonade

Happy about the French lemonade to go with Pimm’s next summer! One can never be too prepared.

I loved all the cloches:

I might have to go back for one of these:

Here are a few other things I loved, tufted bench:

I was hoping the island would fit in our kitchen but it was too big.  Love the industrial / old world feel of it!

Happy Shoppers

We shopped until we dropped (literally)!  Wanna see what we brought home?

Drum roll, please…..

This beautiful driftwood lamp (is a favorite):

Driftwood Lamp and Coastal Decor

This is its temporary home, it will actually go in the office.  You all know how much I love driftwood.  We collect it on the beach and make sailboats with it, I stained our sunroom floor to look like driftwood and even painted a dresser in that color.

This lamp is made with real driftwood and it is so intricately done:

All the lamps at World Market have mix and match shades which is such a cool idea.  I love that you can customize your look.  I chose this shade (the one on my head) to go with the lamp.

Okay, one more picture of the lamp because I LOVE it so much!!!!

I also got some desk organizers for my office.  I loved the galvanized metal and the old world look:

We raided the English candy and couldn’t resist these authentic English pub coasters. I want my hubby to feel at home in our house.  You may remember the union jack table I painted here.

I also got a few more things which I used in our sunroom for a little fall vignette:

Fall Decor in the Sunroom

My little Conor fell in love with this blue mug for his hot chocolate, isn’t it pretty?

The wood slice coasters are adorable as is for fall and winter. You could also upcycle them by doing an image transfer on top.

Oh, do you like the twig placemat and the cloche? I couldn’t resist them!

Fall Vignette

I saw some really great gift ideas for the coming holidays while we were shopping – vintage toys and the little golden books.  I think my guys will love them.  It was a really fun day.

I have a feeling I’ll be making many trips to the new Cost Plus World Market store.

Hi Danielle, sorry I’ve been MIA. Looks like a fun time. I would like a WM to open in Northern Jersey. So many great items and I LOVE cloches as you know. The boys had such wide happy eyes in the photos.
