Baby, It’s Cold Outside

Brrr!  It is freezing here in Scituate and only going to get colder.  Are you shivering too?!?
Most of our home is warm and snuggly but the sunroom unfortunately is not.

It is a three season room with loads of windows and picturesque views of our yard.  Here is a photo that was taken the day we moved in:

As you know, the shutters are a pale blue now

Here, you can see how many windows the room has and the beautiful view of our yard.  We have a long farmhouse table with greek blue chairs set up in there now.  It is a great room for informal dining and crafting and even painting furniture.  We also reupholstered our dining room chairs in there.

We have big plans for this room come spring – touching up paint, adding some artwork and ripping out the carpets and painting the wood flooring underneath.  Oh, and refinishing the top of that table….

It is a really lovely room (possibly a favorite in the house).  That is when it is warm and it hasn’t been warm.

Last night the yard got a dusting of snow and ice.  It is actually sleeting now.  It is cold out there – seeing your breath cold.

So when Heat Storm contacted me and ask if I’d like to try out the Mojave, infrared heater, I jumped at the chance.

I know space heaters don’t sound very glamorous, but these portable infrared quartz heaters are pretty sleek and may say stylish?

This model also came with a pretty cute remote!  Perfect if your busy painting or sewing as I was making the stockings I shared with you on Friday.

I happily sewed away as the Mojave kept the room nice and toasty.  It really felt like I had central heat out there and the air wasn’t dry at all as can be the case with some space heaters.

According to Heat Storm: “Its Copper Heat Exchanger combines with the humidity in the room to provide soft, moist, safe heat without reducing oxygen or humidity.”

Heat Storm makes all different models at different price points.

A cute wall heater:

The light weight Sahara:

And your more conventional outdoor heaters, perfect for the garage, patios or work areas:

The Mojave model is perfect for our sunroom and will also work great in our basement if I find it cold to paint down there this winter.  The Mojave can heat up to 500 sq. ft. and also offers air purifying.

So if you want to give the gift of warmth this winter then look no further.  Heat Storm is giving my readers a special discount! A discount of $30 off a Mojave!  The code is: mojave001

Disclosure:  I was given a Mojave Infrared Heater to try out. I really enjoy the heat and warmth provided by this product.  All thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own.
