We celebrated a special day in our house this weekend. On Saturday, our youngest turned three! I really can't believe my little man has grown up so quickly. He's always tried to keep up with his older brother and actually didn't stay a baby for very long, but three just seems so old! On his first and second birthdays we had cake here at the house with just my parents, but this year he wanted a proper party. For weeks, he's been thinking his birthday was the next day. He also was coming up with fun themes. He told me, "Me want a monster, super hero, halloween birthday!"
Conor loves candy. So his birthday was a bit like Conor's Candy Land. I got him this sweet shirt from
Culpeper General etsy shop. Isn't it cute?

But Conor is particular about clothes and decided he wanted to do his party top half nudy. A friend kept calling him Matthew McConaughey as he strutted around the backyard. Ah, to be young!
I got paper lanterns at the Christmas Tree Shop instead of balloons and I plan on hanging them up in the playroom. His candy cake was from
Morning Glories Bakery in Scituate.
The Cohasset Candy Company, which just opened in Cohasset, had some yummy candy which I got for the goodie bags and also had these fabulous candy themed pillows. These are also heading to the playroom:

It was a little birthday bash with his little playgroup friends and a few others. The piñata was a huge hit. The kids were scurrying to grab as much candy as they could:

The gigantic fire engine bouncy castle was also very popular. I was a little busy passing around pizza and cake

but my good friend, Egle Ruth, captured some lovely photographs of Conor on his big day. I couldn't resist sharing some with you all.
Here he is enjoy his cake:
