In June, I wrote about the Pass it On Project which Karah from The Space Between started. The lovely Fiona, of Just Paint it White, made me a beautiful twine holder and I passed one on to my mom. If you missed the post you can find it here.
This project is such a beautiful idea. It is sharing the love in a very tangible way using one's own creativity. There was no limit or guidelines. I could decide what I wanted to make. I love combing the beach for treasures with my two little guys so thought making driftwood sailboats would be fun and also would enable me to share the beaches I love with two friends. I love the rustic quality of driftwood and the mix of pure linen fabric with it!
Here's how they came out:
What do you think? I passed on the love to my good friend, Cheryl. Her blog, Its Two AM, is wonderful and filled with beautiful images of her beautiful projects. I also shared two little driftwood sailboats with Heidi, of All that Brings Joy. Heidi shares so may beautiful painted projects on her blog. Hope you check out their blogs and think about taking part in the Pass It On Project. I'm so happy I did!
