You may remember that I shared the raised beds we built in the spring here. They've worked out fantastically this year.
We have humungous rutabaga growing. Very excited for Luke to make his Cornish pasties and do roasted veggies with them:
There has been some unexpected happiness with the garden. We planted everything in rows - carrots, parsnips, rutabaga, radishes, spinach etc. There were no tomatoes planted in the raised beds, but there must have been seeds in our compost because we have a tomato jungle out there. This photo was taken in June (so imagine how many more tomato plants there are now):

Such a wonderful bonus and suprise to have so many tasty tomatoes. Hope you're all having a lovely last bit of summer and enjoying summer's bounty with fresh fruits and veggies!
