Bricks & Mortar

I told you all on Monday that I had some exciting things brewing and I hated that I couldn't divulge anything to you then.  So he're the first bit of very fun news...

I love Etsy and my Etsy shop, but I've been dying to have a space to showcase my furniture, pillows and other handmade items.  Some of my stuff isn't very easy to ship and I found shipping furniture is just REALLY, REALLY expensive.  So I've been on the search for the perfect venue for Finding Silver Pennies.
Main Street Antiques, Plymouth MA
I'm very happy to announce that Finding Silver Pennies can be found at Main Street Antiques in Plymouth, MA!  Main Street Antiques is located in historic Plymouth, MA (famous for Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower, Plimouth Plantation and it's beautiful beaches and downtown area).  The antique shop is home to 75 dealers and filled to the brim with treasure - my kind of heaven.  There is estate jewelry, coins, collectable toys, antique furniture, painted pieces (like mine), vintage clothes, glassware etc.  It is an incredible place to visit and even my littlest guy loved it.  There is a replica fire engine at the back.

Sunday night, I spent making price tags:

and care tags for the painted furniture:

On Monday, morning we loaded up the truck with my treasures:

while Conor pretended to drive.

We left the boys in the care of Nonni and Grampy while we set up shop.  Here's how my space is looking now.  I'm going to head down quite often to add new pieces, pillows and other fun items:

I even have a sign (the frame is painted in ASCP naturally):

In my space there are some old friends - the Rocking "Sea" Horse (that Conor would like to keep for himself).

New faces, like Martha and the driftwood sailboat:

and the above vintage corbel, newly painted in chalk paint and dry brushed with gilding wax.

I'm so excited for this next phase for the blog and my new bricks & mortar location.  Local friends or followers visiting historic Plymouth, I'd love for you to come in for a visit.  Maybe you'll find some "unexpected happiness" in my space.

Main Street Antiques
Main Street Antiques is located at 46 Main Street and my area is on the right when you first come in!  Hope you visit soon!
