In The Dark

Like so many tonight, we are in the dark. Across the state of Massachusetts there are over 500,000 households without power.

Thankfully we were not hit hard by Irene. We have some limbs down and some clean up to do.But we have been so lucky. It may be several days before power is restored to everyone.

Our Ikea candles are burning bright. Our little generator that could is working so hard to keep our fridge cold. Up around Minot all the generators are running; it sounds like people have gone out to mow the lawn.

We may be without power, but have what we need and most importantly we have eachother. Hope all on the East Coast are well.
